Abri-mémoire - heritage centre

Fermeture hebdomadaire
Lundi

Reflecting the history of the village, the “Abri-Mémoire” centre has been set up in the oldest house in Uffholtz, built in 1581. During the 1914-1918 war, the Germans, who occupied the village, transformed the house into a shelter for the wounded. To discover: exhibitions on History, Memory and Peace, an original 14-18 collection (engravings, caricatures, postcards, photographs…)

The tour is guided by an exhibition, either historical or artistic, to the documentation centre regarding the years 1914-1918 at Hartmannswillerkopf, in Alsace and in the Vosges.
